SCOPE Scholarship Program

Making Camp Possible. Changing Lives.
At Camp Olmsted, a ministry of Five Points Mission, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience summer camp — to grow in confidence, build friendships, and create life-shaping memories.
We are proud to partner with SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) to provide need-based camp scholarships to qualifying families.
The SCOPE Scholarship helps remove financial barriers so that children from underserved communities can attend accredited summer camps like Camp Olmsted.

Be 7–16 years old
-
Be currently enrolled in school

Additional Financial Assistance Through Five Points Mission
We understand that some families may be just outside of SCOPE’s eligibility requirements but still need financial assistance.
Because of this, Five Points Mission (Camp Olmsted) also offers an internal need-based scholarship program to help offset camp costs for families experiencing financial hardship.
-
This scholarship is available to families who may not qualify for SCOPE but demonstrate financial need.
-
The application process is the same as the SCOPE scholarship process.
-
The scholarship application is presented during the camper registration process.
Our goal is simple:
If a child wants to come to camp, we will do everything we reasonably can to make it possible.
